During the consultation, we also provide guidance and suggestions based on our expertise and experience. FAQ
What to expect after my session?
- We will take about 1 to 2 weeks to process the images for your first viewing. These will be images that have gone through basic colour adjustments but not detail editing. They are not print ready yet.
- You will have 2 weeks to select your favourite images from your package so that our team can individually hand edit them to achieve the signature BudsCanvas standards and quality.
- The editing stage is a very time consuming process and will generally take about 1 to 2 weeks before they are ready.
- The images are now ready for you to showcase and share with your love ones and friends.
What if I need to change my appointment date due to unforeseen circumstances.
We understand when dealing with little ones there are many situations that may arise and we will need to make changes to the appointment. Although we generally charge a rescheduling fee of $100 but as long as you give us at least a few days notice we should be able to waive that for you. Just try to not have no shows on the day of the session.
Do note that in these situations we will try our best ability to help you with another appointment date but the date available may not always be your choice date.
How do I book a session?
Once you are ready to book an appointment with us you can simply head over to our contact us page and we will guide you along from there.
How early should I book my newborn session?
You can start booking your appointment as early as 5 to 6 months into your pregnancy.
We always encourage customers to book 1 week after that EDD date. If there is a change in the EDD we will shift them accordingly but do note that our appointments are very limited as we only work with one session per day to ensure the best experience for each customer.
What if I deliver early?
The first thing to do is to give us a call so that we can help you to change your appointment date based on how early your baby arrives. We do make rooms for early deliveries like this each month and that is why we never over booked ourselves to prepare for situations like this which is really common. So fret not, we are prepared.
My baby’s skin is peeling and flaky. What should we do?
The final selected images would all have gone through post production editing meaning that they will have smooth and beautiful skin. However, we always encourage parents to leave the natural features and details as much as possible as that is how we want to remember our little ones.
What do I need to prepare for the session?
There is really nothing much for you to prepare in regards to the baby specially when we will be at your place for the photography session. It will be a good idea though to get yourself prepared in terms of a set of match outfits with your hubby if you are planning for a family portrait.
We will have a simple preparation list for you after your appointment is confirmed so you can simply follow that.
Can we customise the package if there are certain items we want to increase or certain items we don’t need?
Unfortunately we do not allow customisation of our packages. We have carefully thought through our packages and they are carefully crafted for an experience that is meant to delight you.
